2. Installation of the Boiler

• Mounting: The new boiler unit is mounted securely in its designated location.

• Pipework & Connections:

  • Water Supply: Water lines are connected to the boiler, and isolation valves are installed.

  • Fuel Supply: The fuel line (gas or oil) is connected with proper shutoff valves and regulators.

  • Ventilation: The exhaust piping (flue) is installed, ensuring proper draft and using corrosion-resistant materials.

  • Electrical & Control Wiring: The boiler is wired to the main power supply, and connections are made to thermostats, safety controls (like a low-water cutoff), and other control devices.

3. Testing & Commissioning

4. Handover & Maintenance

• Guidance: The technician provides a detailed handover, explaining how to operate and maintain the boiler for optimal performance and longevity.

• Registration: Any required registration for warranty and local codes is completed.
